Who can benefit from this Master?
MSSEIS is mainly intended for Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) engineers and graduates who wish either to achieve further specialization in their professional activity or to obtain the training on research necessary to follow a doctorate program. It serves both a professional and an academic/research objective, and all its teachers have plenty of experience in the technical areas included in the subjects.
What is taught in this Master?
This Master tackles these four crucial technological areas which are, all of them, at the core of modern mobile and ubiquitous systems:

Wireless communication technologies used in the latest generations of mobile systems.

Communication electronics related to the advanced digital architectures found in embedded systems.

Telematics present in Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks.

Signal processing necessary to transmit audio and video information through the network.
What language is used, where and when do classes take place?
The language of instruction is English, and the classes take place at the School of Telecommunications Systems and Engineering of the Technical University of Madrid, located in the South Campus of UPM (how to get here), during the afternoons.
